Independent quality mark for the British Acupuncture Council (BAcC).
The BAcC's register of members has recently been approved and accredited by the Professional Standards Authority for Health and Social Care. This new scheme was set up by the Department of Health and is administered by an independent body which is accountable to Parliament. Recognition of the standards of training and development the British Acupuncture Council requires of it’s members, met some of the strict criteria necessary to receive the accreditation. This sought-after stamp of assurance is good for patients, service users and the public in general, as the best way to promote quality within our profession.Tweet
